Custom work is a collaborative process: the result is greater than the sum of its parts.

It works like this: a client has a problem & an idea of how to solve it.

They live with this problem every day, and they will live with the solution for a long, long time.

And so, simply put, we listen.

We’ll get ideas about how to solve it – we have fresh eyes and a whole lot of experience, after all.

Design is iterative – the more we think about it and work on it together, the clearer the solution becomes.

Throughout the project, there will be many opportunities for details to be executed one way or another.

We take the time to discuss these details because we believe they are where most projects succeed or fail. Many builders don’t communicate about those things – we take the time to stop and ask you what you think.
